We all can picture the image of birds swarming around a field or home. But that picture is most likely from a movie, suggesting some horrible omen that’s visiting a character.

Nests
As there’s a large influx of birds, there’s bound to be an influx of nests as well. You may view a bird’s nest as cute or beautiful, and while they are both of those. — They are also seriously messy.
You see, nests are built with many types of debris, which isn’t always stable. That being the case, every gust of wind could lead to nests falling on all sides of your property. It may seem like a minor issue, but there’s also the chance of baby birds or eggs falling as well.

Birds Carry Diseases
Again, as beautiful as they are, they’re not exactly clean. Birds often carry all sorts of toxic things in their bodies.
Those toxic things could be left in their droppings. The droppings could carry all sorts of viral infections, fungus, histoplasmosis and even Salmonellosis– which could be transferred through your HVAC system.
There’s also the chance of a child or pet touching the droppings on a porch or driveway, spreading it or becoming infected themselves.

Birds aren’t always pests. That’s because many of them do relatively little harm. However, many species can do serious damage to your home, car, or roof that you may not be aware of.
